Jack Kent Cooke Foundation National Scholarship Competition for Graduate Students

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be a college senior OR a recent graduate (since May 2001) from an accredited college or university in the United States
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Plan to begin first graduate or professional degree in fall 2006
  • Be nominated by FSU
Amount: Up to $50,000 per year for up to six years.
Application Process:
  • The Cooke Foundation does NOT accept applications directly from students.  FSU will select two nominees from the applications received.
  • To be considered for nomination by FSU, please download the application from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation website.
  • Submit the completed application to the FSU Scholarship Committee, 230 Collins Building, or mail the completed application to Scholarship Committee, c/o Dr. Jon Young, 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301-4298
  • FSU's Deadline:  March 1, 2006.  Please note that nominations must be submitted to the foundation by May 1.  The FSU deadline will enable the committee sufficient time to select nominees and for nominees to strengthen their applications as needed prior to submission to the foundation.
