Office of Financial Aid - Fayetteville State University

Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Felton Capel, long-time supporter of Fayetteville State University, the FSU Scholarship Committee will award Capel Scholarships according to guidelines listed below.

The Capel Scholars Program is designed to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic excellence.

Amount of award: $1,000 per year renewable for up to four years for recipients who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:

Be a full-time undergraduate student at Fayetteville State University.
Be a North Carolina resident;
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Have a record of positive contributions to the university and/or community.
